The second edition of this book was published by Course Technology on March 28, 2003 (ISBN: 978-0619186845). This book was written prior to the change allowing the first and last subnets in an incremental range to be used. Beau Sanders revised this excerpt document on November 4, 2108 to reflect the change allowing all subnets in an incremental range to be used.
